We are currently engaged with a client seeking a DevOPs Engineer.  In this role, DevOPs Engineer will: 


  Create, implement and maintain security policies to ensure NIST/HIPAA/PCI compliance.
  Take a leadership role in collaboratively maintaining cookbooks in the Ansible/ Chef.
  Improve testing of cookbooks (inSpec, ServerSpec, et alia)
  Ensure core recipes are supported on multiple linux platforms
  Create and maintain knowledge base
  Verify infrastructure Automation meets compliance goals and is current with disaster recovery plan.
  Contribute to fine tuning the change management process for reliability and speed
  Evangelize configuration management and automation to IT professionals

The appropriate individual will have the following experience:


  Experience with configuration management tools (e.G. Chef, Ansible, and Puppet)
  Experience in codifying, managing and testing infrastructure as code
  Experience with Amazon Web Services
  AWS CloudFormation Experience at an advanced level
  Docker
  Hashicorp tools a plus (Packer, Vagrant, Terraform, Vault)
  Proficient in build and code quality tools (GIT, Github, Jenkins)
  Expertise in one or more of following languages: Ruby, Python, PowerShell
  Experience with Continuous integration like Jenkins and automation experience
  Experience with log collection and analysis (Kibana)
  Takes ownership of decisions, actions, problems, and solutions
  Ability to document and diagram complex systems.
  Excellent communication, presentation, cross-functional collaboration and partnership skills.
